Want to save some money? Make your own napkin rings for Christmas! Using plastic beads, make this attractive Christmas wreath for your table setting. You can use it as a napkin holder or hang on a tree for an ornament. It is so inexpensive, that you can send it home with guests as a favor and memory of your Christmas dinner.
Materials:
3 inch metal cookie or biscuit cutter.
Red and Green Plastic pony beads
Red Bow or ribbon
Glue Gun
Directions:
Lay two rings of beads along the outside edge of the metal cutter. Any more will make too small a hole for your napkin. I put a few red beads here and there, leaving a place for the bow. They do need to touch each other. It doesn’t matter if they are on their side or flat.
Pop into 400 degree oven for 20 minutes! It should look like this….
Let cool completely. Don’t hurry!
It will pop out easily when it is cool! It won’t do any damage to your pan, either.
Be sure to let me know how your project turned out. Change the colors and use it anytime. For spring, make it a flower shape by using a flower cookie cutter.
I got the inspiration for this napkin ring through a variety of melted bead posts.
Have a wonderful Christmas! Remember the reason for the season!
