Easy Fall Wreath

Easy and Colorful Fall Wreath

Whether you’re looking for a kid or adult craft, this one is easy for both! This wreath can be dressed up with raffia bow or left simple to surround pumpkins or candles.

First, cut out the center of a paper plate. Make sure it is a sturdy one; not flimsy! You want it to hold its shape so you can hang it!

Next spray paint the plate with a dark brown or black color. If you’re working with kids, they can use washable markers and color the edges. This hides any space that might be missed with the addition of the leaves. It helps to do both sides.

Then, start with the colorful leaves and either staple them on or hot glue them. Be sure to overlap half-way making sure there is good coverage with the leaves. When we did this with a group of elementary kids, they used the stapler as it was much easier and there was no danger with the hot glue!

Continue all the way around the plate. At the end, tuck in the last leaf at the starting point so it looks continuous all the way around. Final touch is to add a bow and a small fall pick.

Now, that’s easy!

You may have some artificial fall leaves already. If not, you can get 100’s through Amazon.

Enjoy and have fun!
